Meet the Director!
Born and raised in California, Hailey grew up dancing at her grandmother's and then her mother's dance studio. She attended Brigham Young University where she received her BFA in Music Dance and Theatre and Teaching Credential in Theatre Education. She has a passion for musical theatre and a desire to bring the magic of music and learning to her home and community.
Hailey opened up her home for early childhood music education instruction in 2016, after teaching in studio settings, and has loved seeing the growth that her studio has naturally taken. She was first inspired to start teaching classes for her children to encourage healthy brain development through music and movement. With time she expanded to teaching kids of all ages after encouragement from loving friends. She finds great fulfillment in seeing her students develop confidence in themselves and their ability to shine! "Music is a powerful tool and music combined with love has the ability to change hearts and minds!"
When grad school moved her family across the country, Hailey was so sad to say "good-bye" to her students in Bakersfield. When Covid-19 swept the world, the opportunity for online classes opened up those doors and House of Music and Performing Arts is so happy to be in your home as we sing and dance together, again!
