This course is a group voice class patterned in a way that allows the students to sing individually while learning from their peers. The focus of the course is proper vocal technique and developing the confidence to perform a solo.
The first 10 minutes of class are vocal warm ups. Then we do 10 minutes of working on a group number. The following 40 minutes are used to work on solo pieces. Students will work with the teacher to pick a song they like to work on.
At the end of the course there is a recital where they sing a 1 minute cut of their song along with the group number!
Students commit to 6 weeks of classes at a time. Courses are continuous with the exception of breaks between courses for holidays.
